Krišs Salmanis is a conceptual artist whose works question identity, material properties, and the role of the artist as a creator—all with deceptive simplicity and straightforwardness. He does admit to a preference for working with moving images and animation; even his installations and sculptures often have a motorized or kinetic component.
Kriss was part of Wander´s first residency program in collaboration with The Naked, together with artists Anica Vucetic and Janek Simon in November 2012: the Glocal Residency.
He hosted a secret anti-bookclub in Café De BieB to fight the typical have-to-read-before-you-die top 100 listings and made everyone bring a book that we never have to read to definitely scrap of the list.
